Danielle McCully

I am Danielle, a recent graduate from Nottingham Trent University's Design for Film and Television course and am currently part of the 2025-26 ScreenSkills Trainee Finder Scheme.

 

I grew up on a mountainside farm in Northern Ireland and have moved to Maidenhead to get a taste of the commotion of London and to be near the best of the UK's film studios. 

 

I thrive when absorbed in meticulous work such as digital and hand-draughting, and creating white card models to bring designs to life.

 

Since graduating, I have gained industry experience as Graphics Assistant, where I had to quickly learn Illustrator on the job, so I feel just at home on the Adobe suite as I do designing sets on Vectorworks.

I am excited to gain more experience in the industry as Art Department Assistant / Trainee so I can eventually become a Draughtsperson or Model-maker.

​

As of March 2025- I am currently available, but will need time off from Wednesday 23rd to Tuesday 29th April for the shoot of a short film that I am Art Directing.
